Okay Fashionista's it's about that time to perform your yearly mole check
Know your ABCDE's. Look for Asymmetry, Irregular Boarders, Color Changes, Diameter, and Elevation.
Performing a mole check over your entire body is one of the easiest things you can do to prevent skin cancer. Did you know that skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States and more than 3.5 million skin cancers are diagnosed annually. Don't get me wrong, I think getting your daily dose of vitamin D is very important for your immune system and health but getting too much of anything isn't good.
Make it into a habit to look over your skin every once in a while using your ABCDE's. If you notice anything unusual, schedule an appointment with your dermatologist and take a picture of it to help monitor any changes.
