What is eating raw? Eating a raw diet consists of organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and sprouted grains none of which is heated above 118 degrees fahrenheit to prevent the enzymes from denaturing and preserving all of the nutrients.

Last night I spoke with one of the first people who planted the seed for me;, the vibrant and inspiring Chef Juliano! Juliano teaches the 'art of medicinal cuisine' and the food is seriously the best raw food I have ever tasted.
Picture this .... circa 2000 when I was still figuring out what I was going to do with my life when I turn on the E channel and see Juliano talking about eating raw while shopping for fruits and veggies at his local farmer's market in California. He is one of the original pioneers of the raw food movement ( and I still religiously use his cookbook)! He helped inspire me to juice and it's been well over a decade and I'm still going strong. I'm a huge believer in getting your nutrients from your food and integrate this in my life and talk about this with all my patients.
