I'm going back to Seattle this weekend for my best friend's wedding but that also means getting on a plane. I've never had a fear of flying but I do have a fear of getting sick on the planes. True Story: About 6 years ago I took a flight from Chicago to LA and had the luck of getting the middle seat. Things were going okay during take off and I was getting to know my neighbors on both sides then, all of a sudden, I got super nauseous. I don't want our version of Thelma and Louise to be spoiled by me, so I have packed my special remedy... slices of fresh ginger! I simply cut small slices of fresh ginger and pack about 20 slices to take every 1/2 hour to hour along the way.
Ginger is also great for:
