This is a work in progress for me! I absolutely LOVE my work and sometimes find myself immersed so deeply in it that I forget to look up and enjoy the moment. Here's the some tips that I use to be more efficient with my time while setting aside time to have fun!
Schedule a time to read emails during the day, if you don't it will become an endless task that will suck your precious time away.
Create a morning and evening ritual to have YOU time! Go for a morning walk and take the time to listen to the birds sing. Take an evening bath (I do this every night) to relax and reflect.
Get rid of your television: life is too awesome to waste it in front of the television (unless your on a Netflix marathon and have to finish it).
Exercise every day: It's so easy to get really busy and justify not working out, but I promise you that you will have more energy and creativity if you schedule the time!
Write down your top 3 things to accomplish each day: Stop getting lost in an endless to-do list of 9 billion things! Create a list of priorities and make sure they are accomplished.
Have a clear vision of the life you want: I created 2 vision boards, one for work and one for family which I have near my bed. I look at them each night and visualize my goals.
And most important.... Have fun!
