I started write to this post about plaid and then I fell in love with this photo from 1992 showing Seattle Style at it's finest.
It captures the essence of grunge style... a pair of docs, a Nirvana t-shirt, and of course flannel!
Bridget Bardot is not only a style icon but a universal sex symbol and a passionate animals rights activist. Her classic french look is still being referenced today for her mod dresses, jumpsuits, and bed-head hair.
[gallery type="circle" ids="3857,3856,3858,3859,3860,3861"] 1990's supermodel style was all about Versace bustiers, super short Chanel skirt suits, chunky platform heels, larger than life egos, and bombshell hair!
Well, I'm glad the 90's are over but am excited to still find ways to rock the fashion.
[gallery type="circle" ids="3718,3719,3714,3709,3710,3711"] Time to throw on your Hermes scarf, your favorite riding boots, cute stud earrings, and a perfectly tailored blazer to embrace the inner equestrian in you!

When I think of Paris I visualize black & white stripe sweaters, red lipstick, cigarette pants, and a cute pair of flats. Perhaps I will go to a cafe later to study and channel my inner Parisian!
Jacey Duprie from Damsel In Dior is a Texas-born, Los Angeles-based professional blogger who clearly knows the art of true style.
Valentino Rockstud heels I ended up buying these shoes because I fell in love with them from your site!
Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific is a NYC fashion blogger who mixes the most unique pieces and makes me want to buy everything she wears.
Daksha Stitched Blouse at Anthropologie I think this is going to have to be my next purchase!
Devon Dyer from Devon Rachel is a LA based fashion blogger/stylist who hits it on the mark every time.
BCBG Rnway Katrina Dress totally in love with this dress. You rocked this Devon.
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Raquel Welch nailed the 70's bohemian look with her large turquoise necklaces, flowy dresses, mini skirts, and fringe. I'm excited to pull out my vintage fringed shawl to rock it tomorrow
Jane Birkin has always been a style icon with her lack back French bohemian look that embodies cool. Having a Hermes bag named in her honor only solidifies that fact!
The creative director for J. Crew is an expert at mixing all-American classics with her unique eccentric flare. Jenna has reached style icon status this year with her signature geek-check look and thick rimmed glasses.
Veruschka was a breath of fresh air when she entered the modeling scene in the '60's gracing 11 Vogue covers over her career. The German supermodel who stood at 6'1" was quite different for the era when Twiggy was all the rage. She was an artist who did not allow outside influences to sway her beliefs and was the muse to Salvador Dali. Versuschka embodied all aspects of a style icon, embracing her unique look and making whatever she wore to become timeless like the YSL safari dress.
This post is inspired from my favorite coffee table book by Julia Chaplin called 'Gypset'. She chronicles artists, designers, surfers, and musicians that embody the luxurious bohemian lifestyle. It's the perfect combination of the carefree lifestyle of a gypsy fused with the sophistication of the jet set crowd. Various people featured include Alice Temperley having a party on her parent's cider farm, the Mignot sisters living in a small fishing village, and Jade Jagger hanging out in Saint-Tropez.
